We seek a Quality Inspector 1.
Basic Function
The function of the Quality Inspector 1 is to ensure the high quality of parts being sent to our customers. Advice for the purpose of improving quality and reducing time and cost to manufacture.
Reporting Relationships
The Quality Inspector 1 reports to: Quality Inspection ManagerThe Quality Inspector 1 interface with: All Leads, Engineering, Testing, Shipping, Stockroom, and Production Personnel
Authority
The Quality Inspector 1 has the authority to:
- Reject parts that do not meet specifications on the customer drawings.
- Recommend redline changes to production drawings.
- Suggest methods to improve product and quality, reduce time and cost to manufacture.
Responsibility
The Quality Inspector 1 has the responsibility and duty to:
- QC all parts, verifying that all parts meet all customer specifications including electrical specifications.
- Verify that customer P.O. #, ship dates, part numbers and revision level, quantity of parts is consistent throughout all documentation accompanying each order.
- Verify that all parts are built 100% to specification prior to release for shipment to the customer.
- Maintain IPC 610 certification.
- Ensure that workmanship meets WCM and customer standards.
- Sign off all orders and certificates of compliance.
- Ensure Manufacturing compliance with the Standard Procedure Manual.
- Keep the work area clean and in compliance with 5S standards.
- Follow all applicable company Standard Procedures.
- Ensure defective parts are clearly labeled and identified in accordance with the company Quality Policy.
- Maintain a final inspection discrepancy log.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication skills

Hourly Rate: $19.15 - $25.35
