Basic Function

We are looking for a talented Inventory Control Clerk to maintain the location of and accurate records for inventory items in the stockroom and warehouse. The role will have the authority to assign and maintain inventory bin locations and perform periodic inventory cycle counts. Requires strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibility

The Inventory Control Clerk has the responsibility to:

  1. Assign new bin locations and maintain accurate bin locations in Sage.
  2. Stock inventory and finished goods items in the proper bin locations.
  3. Maintain proper bin locations as goods are moved.
  4. Count materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock.
  5. Report and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and Sage records.
  6. Develop and improve upon inventory management processes/procedures.
  7. Maintain stockroom cleanliness and order.
  8. Return material to stock, whether from kitting or production. Enter the in/out log and enter transactions into Sage on a timely basis.
  9. Observe all company safety guidelines and report any hazards.
  10. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, including barcoding.
  • Ability to work in a stockroom environment.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. weight shoulder level.
  • Basic reading and math skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Office software skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
