Our sales, operations and engineering teams partner with you from inquiry through delivery. We have recently doubled our R&D space and added a fully dedicated assembly and test facility. The expansion provided more space for new product prototyping and first article manufacturing. Our manufacturing engineers optimize transfer to production. WCM’s Stockton location offers prototyping services and mid-scale production; high volume production is available at our Tecate, Mexico facility.

25 years ago we started as a build to spec company and still provide this service. Our approach is to understand your application in order to design improvements that may increase performance, reduce size, and/or improve manufacturability. We focus on the performance requirements of a single component to support to the overall success of your projects.

WCM engineers work directly with each customer, designing to their specific needs. By understanding your application we will design performance and manufacturability into each product.

Our core business is design and build. We use the latest technologies and, more often than not, we exceed the initial performance criteria. Many of our customers have long product development cycles and we can pace alongside as projects go to market.
• Prototypes & First Articles
A centerpiece of our process is the design of prototypes that allow customers to test specifications and functional performance. First article builds are made by a specialized, dedicated team that works alongside the manufacturing engineers.
• Electronic Manufacturing Services
West Coast Magnetics products are engineered and built for maximum performance and our manufacturing process includes rigorous QC to ensure we deliver consistency. We understand the parameters that can affect the functional implementation of components into assemblies. To maximize the performance of your WCM designed and manufactured component, we test and tune before delivery. Let us build out your complete system to maximize performance and reduce variability.
